A group of journalists and Vatican experts, who were in Rome for the election of Pope Leo XIV, will offer analysis and insight about the first weeks of Pope Leo XIV’s papacy.
The free, online event hosted by Outreach will take place Tues., June 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. EST. Advance registration is required. The panel will feature:

- James Martin, S.J., Outreach founder
- Michael J. O’Loughlin, executive director, Outreach
- Anna Rowlands, chair, Centre for Catholic Social Thought and Practice





Panelists will consider a range of questions about Pope Leo, including:
- Understanding his views on synodality
- How to consider his past comments on LGBTQ issues
- Who Pope Leo is as a person?
- What is it like covering a new pope?
Viewers will have the opportunity to submit questions and the event will be recorded.
