Members of the LGBTQ community proudly live out their Catholic faith in a variety of ways: attending Mass, teaching at Catholic schools, working at Catholic hospitals and even simply sharing the joy of the Gospel with those they love.
Friends and family of LGBTQ Catholics, and those who minister to them, often remark on the deep faith many have and how it inspires others to live the teachings of Jesus more fully.
We’re asking LGBTQ Catholics, and those who love and minister to them, to offer brief reflections describing moments when you were proud to be LGBTQ and Catholic or stories about how LGBTQ people in your life have contributed to the church.
Outreach will publish a selection of these stories later this month.
