On October 20, Outreach managing editor Ryan Di Corpo spoke with Colleen Dulle, an associate editor at America Media and co-host of its “Inside the Vatican” podcast with Gerard O’Connell, about secrecy this month at the Synod on Synodality, criticism of the gathering from some U.S. prelates and Pope Francis’s emphasis on dialogue and process.

“The conversations that [Synod delegates] have just started having in this Synod will have a lot of time to mature over the next 11 months,” said Dulle.
