Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona has made it a point to hold space for the LGBTQ community on campus, especially through the Dignity affinity space led by Mrs. Susanne Hornbeck in the Office of Faith & Justice.
This group meets most weeks and has been shaped by the students themselves in determining how they feel most comfortable and supported. It is often known as Digni-Tea because Mrs. Hornbeck always has a kettle of hot water boiling for everyone to enjoy tea together.
